Photographers of all ages, backgrounds, and experience are eligible to enter the Xposure Photography Competition.
Sharjah Government Media Bureau launched the concept of Xposure in 2016 as an International Photography Festival that would become an annual feature in the calendar of professional photographers, photography enthusiasts, filmmakers, students and educators from around the world.
Xposure is the leading photo festival in the MENA region and the official imagery and educational platform that combines a range of photography events including; Exhibitions, Workshops, Seminars, Screenings, Focus Groups, Competitions, Photo Walks, and hosts a dedicated photographic and video production trade show.
The panel of judges are looking to award an Overall Winner from the photography categories and additionally a winner and runner-up from each category including moving image & short-films.

Prizes:
•Overall Winner – $3,000 (USD) / digital imaging equipment / Flights and accommodation to the Awards Ceremony in Sharjah UAE / Included in the Xposure festival exhibition / Publication in the Xposure Year Book
•Category Winners – $1,500 (USD) / digital imaging equipment / Flights and accommodation to the Awards Ceremony in Sharjah UAE / Included in the Xposure festival exhibition / Publication in the Xposure Year Book
•Category Runner-up – $750 (USD) / Included in the Xposure festival exhibition / Flights and accommodation to the Awards Ceremony in Sharjah UAE /Publication in the Xposure Year Book
Entry deadline: 10th July 2019
The winners will be announced in September 2019.
Image requirements: JPG format; preferably in a ratio of 3:2; a long dimension of at least 3,300 pixels and 300 dpi 28cm; under 5 Mb in file size.
You may enter up to ten (10) images or films per user distributed in any ratio across the competition categories
