Travel Photography Scholarship to Mongolia is for amateur photographers ready to turn passion into profession. Ready to kick-start your travel photography career?
World Nomads is looking for an aspiring, passionate photographer to send on a trip to Mongolia to be mentored by Canon Master Richard I’Anson.
During this 10-day scholarship opportunity, you’ll capture the unique celebration of nomadic culture at the Naadam Festival.
To win, all you need to do is apply with your best 5 images that tell a story from a place you’ve visited. You can only submit one application.
One winner will receive the following:
• Receive round-trip airfare from your closest international airport to Mongolia
• Journey through Mongolia on a custom tour designed by Discover Mongolia
• Receive a one-on-one mentorship with Canon Master Richard I’Anson
• Camera bag and accessories
• Purifier bottle – Stay hydrated with the world’s fastest portable water purifier from Grayl
• Travel insurance for the trip provided by World Nomads.
Enter up to 5 images for your photo essay and tell World Nomads in 1,500 characters or less, what winning this photography scholarship would mean to you and why you are the best person for the assignment.
Your photo story should:
•Feature an original subject and your original perspective
•Convey a compelling and cohesive story
•Showcase your excellent technique and creative composition
•Be supported by complementary, thoughtful captions
Entry deadline: 27 November 2019
The scholarship recipient, along with the shortlist of the best photo stories, will be published on the World Nomads website on 22 January 2020.
Once you apply, you will not be able to go back and edit your application, so please make sure you are completely satisfied with your application before you hit the submit button.
